[edit] Synopsis
Nintendo Power Issue 2 still stands as one of the most controversial Nintendo Powers to date due to its extremely graphic (for the time) cover art which depicted a decapitated Dracula in the hands of Simon from Castlevania II: Simons Quest.
Fans and critics alike however could not deny the unstoppable fanfare the new Nintendo magazine was building and showing no signs of slowing down. This issue came packed with some awesome bonuses including a 4-page fold out 'Insiders Calendar' (June - Sept), which included key dates such as The next issue of Nintendo Power and Scott Baio's birthday?? Okay, we don't understand that one, but its there.
Also included in this issue is a 3-page poster of Bionic Commando, and a 3-page fold out map of Transylvania from Castlevania II: Simons Quest.

[edit] Castlevania II: Simons Quest Transylvania Map
This overworld map showed the complete land of Transylvania and gave the players a quick glimpse at just how big and how far Simon's Quest goes. The Map identified town names and locations but gave no info on what items or NPCs of importance were in each location; much of which was covered in the previous 8 pages of features on the game.
